Visit of the Chamber of Deputies' Committee on Internal Affairs to the General Police Inspectorate

On 30 September 2026, Ms Claudine de la Hamette, Inspector General of the police, and Mr. Patrick Even, Deputy Inspector General, welcomed a delegation from the Chamber of Deputies' Committee on Internal Affairs to the General Police Inspectorate (IGP).

Following a brief presentation of the IGP, its structure and main responsibilities, the members of the Committee were invited to tour the Inspectorate's premises. Since moving to its current premises in July 2023, the IGP has benefited from a working environment that supports its continued development and growing workforce.

The visit included the reception area, interview rooms and the IGP's various departments and services. It gave the members of the Committee an insight into how the IGP is organised and operates, while also providing an opportunity to meet the managers responsible for its different areas of work.
